Calibration sleeves for producing PP-R pipes for example, Borealis RA 130 E.
This calibration system was specially developed as an alternative to disc calibration inserts. The G&G PP-R calibration sleeves are used in pipe production between 20 mm – 110 mm in diameter.
SHORT DESCRIPTION
The intake area includes a slotted, adjustable, sealing water ring. In addition, the frontal area of the sleeve allows water to act as a lubricant, which results in an “indirect cooling” of the pipe. This is followed by the slotted vacuum calibration sleeve inside the vacuum tank.
